We look very much forward to invite you all to the 41, Tangent and Agora World Meetings in Iceland. It is less than a month until it all starts and there are few practical information we would like to share with you. These information can be found at our website under „What you need to know“.
Few seats available on pretour A
There are few seats available on pretour A due to cancellations. For further information and booking pls contact worldmeeting2025@gmail.com.
Transport from and to the airport
There are few options going from KEF airport (the only international airport in this part of the country) into Reykjavik.
The FLYbus leaves the airport hourly (or more frequently based on the demand). The bus takes you to the Reykjavik bus terminal (BSÍ) and it takes approx 45 minutes. From there smaller buses take you to your hotel (they service most of the hotels in Reykjavik). From the time you arrive at the bus terminal you can expect 30 minutes until you are at your hotel. A link to buy tickets on the Flybus (all the way to your hotel) can be found on our website under „daytours“. There you log into the travel operator website and below the Thursday and Friday tours you will find „Airport Transfer“. The promo code 41ERS10 will get you a 10% discount.
Taxis are available outside the terminal building and normal price for a ride to a hotel in Reykjavik is ISK20.000 for a normal taxi (4 persons but depends on the car how much luggage can be stored). Bigger taxis are more expensive. We recommend you ask the driver for a fixed price before you take the ride.
Privat pick-up for up to 8 persons is serviced by Discover Iceland. Pls contact info@discover.is.
Shop – event merchandises
In collaboration with Round Table Iceland, we have launched a small pre-order shop for event merchandises. All items must be pre-ordered to secure availability and will be available for pickup at the event in May.
All proceeds will go towards the Icelandic Round Table Charity Fund which we are proud to support.
The shop will remain open for orders until April 25th. Orders are only confirmed once payment has been received. A payment link will be sent via email.
During your stay in Iceland we offer variety of daytours, especially on Thursday May 8th (for those not attending the pretours) and on Friday May 9th. See under „Daytours“ at the top of our official website.
Weather in Iceland
May is usually a really pleasant time to explore the country. You can expect temperatures between 4 and 10°C (39—50°F) across the country and some rainfall can be expected every second day and a total of approx. 5 cm during the month (based on historical average). Layering is always key when dressing for cold, wet climates, specially for those who are attending the pretours. Good shoes for walking are recommended on the pretours. There will not be any long walking distances but be ready to walk on graval paths at some of the places we visit on the tour.

The program
A detailed program including dress codes and locations is available at the front page of our website
Home Parties:
There will be over 20 homepartis at Icelandic homes. All participants will be assigned to specific parties. Please ensure you attend the party to which you are assigned. It is a pleasant tradition to present a small gift to the host, though this is not mandatory.
Nations Night:
If your country wishes to participate in the talent competition (participation is optional), please provide details including the participant(s), the nature of the act, and its duration.
Nations Night offers each country a designated table where you can showcase offerings such as food, drinks, presentations of events, etc.
There will be charity games open to all attendees, with all proceeds directed towards charitable causes. The Round Table charity club will oversee these games.
Dietary:
If vegetarian food is required, pls let us know by sending us an e-mail. That is the only way we can secure proper dietary for everyone.
The pretours:
Pretours leave from Hotel Natura Tuesday morning at 9.00. Pls be ready in the hotel lobby with your luggage at 8.30.
If you have not booked your hotel for Mondaynight, pls do so. There is a booking link at our website.
