Pretours

Both Pretours are sold out. We are working on adding the third tour. Further info will be available in few days.

We are offering two Pretours starting Tuesday 6 May – Thursday 8 May.  Both Pretours leave from Hotel Natura (not Hilton Nordica as previously notified), at 8.30 Tuesday morning and arrive back on Thursday at 17.00, just in time to prepare for the welcome drink and the homeparties.  All participants need to arrive in Reykjavik on Monday evening at the latest. Accommodation during Monday night is not included in the tour price.

Pretour C: We are adding the third Pretour, Pretour C, as Pretours A and B are sold out. UPDATE, SOLD OUT, please contact svandri2@gmail.com to register to the waiting list

Pretour C will be a Golden Circle and the South coast tour, very similar to Pretour B but we do not stay overnight at the same hotel.  All participants have to arrive in Reykjavik on Mondaynight, May 5, as the tour starts early Tuesday.  Accommodation Monday night is not included in the tour and we will advise soon if the tour leaves from Hilton Nordica hotel or another venue so you can book your hotel accordingly.  Price for Pretour C is the same as for the other tours, EUR 710 per person if two people are sharing a double room.  The price includes hotel accommodation and all meals, drinks (some beers and snapses included) during the day but not after we arrive at the hotels at night.   Price for single room is additional EUR210.

Pretour A: The South coast  SOLD OUT

This tour unveils many of the country’s most spectacular natural treasures. Among those are Seljalandsfoss, a majestic waterfall allowing you to venture behind its curtain. Skógafoss, feel the spray on your face and witness the enchanting allure of this iconic site. Dyrhólaey promontory and the nearby Reynisfjara, a black-sand beach where the contrast between the obsidian sands, crashing waves, and Reynisdrangar sea stacks paints a surreal picture.  Jökulsárlón Glacial Lagoon, filled with ice splitting off from sections of Europe’s largest ice cap and the nearby Diamond Beach is a stunning contrast of black sand and sparkling icebergs. Fjarðárgljúfur canyon, a100 meters deep and an incredible 2 kilometers long, was created 2 million years ago at the end of the last Ice Age.  Sólheimajökull, a glacial tongue extending out from the larger Mýrdalsjökull ice cap.

Pretour B: Golden Circle and the South coast. SOLD OUT

During Day 1 we witness the three wonders of the famous Iceland Golden Circle. See the breathtaking Gullfoss waterfall, the bubbling pools and Strokkur waterspout at Geysir and the incredible tectonic rift at Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site.  After exploring the Golder Circle area we head towards the South coast where we explore during day 2 and 3 many of the same beautiful places as Pretour A covers including at least Skógarfoss, Seljalandsfoss, Dyrhólaey, Reynisfjara, Reynisdrangar, Diamond Beach and The Glacial Lagoon. On this tour our stops at some of these places will be shorter than on Pretour A

Both Pretours will stay overnight at the same hotel, Hotel Laki at Kirkjubæjarklaustur.

Price is the same for both tours, EUR 710.  Two people are sharing a double room.  The price includes hotel accomodation and all meals, drinks (some beers and snapses included) during the day but not after we arrive at the hotels at night.   Price for single room is additional EUR210.

All participants need to arrive in Reykjavik on Monday evening at the latest. Accommodation during Mondaynight is not included in the tour price.
